SEN Cinema & Dine - themed cinema & dinner experience, third Wednesday of every month

Enjoy a fun evening of food and film. Socialise with old friends and new over a delicious home-cooked two course meal from our cafe, followed by an evening of cinema in our lovely, intimate theatre, giving a true cinema experience in a relaxed fashion and an ideal way to encourage social skills and interaction, as well as to experience and practice a restaurant experience in a safe, supportive environment.

UAS Accredited Learning Programme

Zinc Arts' in-house specific UAS Accredited Learning Programme provides creative courses to help participants transition to independent living and even employment.

The syllabus of learning encompasses a broad range of creative and academic courses which will support the development of core and life skills learning tailored around each student. They look to build confidence, self-esteem, promote good health and emotional well-being, with a strong focus on communication, creativity, problem solving and teamwork

There are 5 inclusive courses available, each course begins at entry level with the opportunity for each student to progress onto level 1 in the second year of training. The course is spread over an academic term with different units spread throughout the year.

Courses include, Catering, Music, Film Making, Drama and Art. Each course is priced at £625 per 13 week term. Age 16+.

SEN Disco

The first Wednesday of each month is Zinc Arts' disco for young people age 14+, entry £5 (carers free). 

With a DJ and disco lights, it is a chance to meet new friends and dance the night away to the latest tunes and some of the best floor-filling classics.
